About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a motivated and organized Remote Logistics Planner to join their dedicated operations team. This fully remote position, based out of Belfast , will involve coordinating the efficient and timely movement of goods across various distribution channels. You will be responsible for planning optimal routes, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations, all from the comfort of your home office. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule transportation routes for domestic and international shipments.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and costs in the company's systems.
• Collaborate remotely with internal departments and external partners to streamline logistics operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics planning , transportation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, carrier management, and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with logistics management software and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, essential for remote collaboration.
