Remote Management Consultant - Public Sector

About the Role

Our client, a leading firm in Management Consultancy , is seeking a highly motivated Remote Management Consultant with experience in the Public Sector to join their distributed team. While serving clients across the UK, this role will particularly support organizations in the Brighton region. You will play a crucial role in helping public sector bodies improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery through strategic advice and process innovation. This position requires a self-starter who can excel in a remote work environment, driving positive change for government and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise public sector clients on organizational reform, strategy development, and service delivery improvements.
• Lead projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency, cost management, and digital service transformation.
• Conduct needs assessments, stakeholder consultations, and feasibility studies for public sector initiatives.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes or technologies.
• Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and project updates to public sector leadership and stakeholders, predominantly via virtual channels.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting , with a significant focus on the public sector (e.g., government agencies, local authorities, healthcare).
• Demonstrated understanding of public sector challenges, procurement processes, and policy environments.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
