Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including robotics, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
• Collaborate virtually with on-site engineering and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate new systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated systems, including programming code, schematics, and operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing advancements.
• Provide remote technical support and training to site personnel on automated systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, with a strong focus on PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Proficiency in robotic programming and integration.
• Experience with industrial networking protocols and cybersecurity for automation systems.
• Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
