Remote Manufacturing Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Manufacturing Consultant to provide expert guidance on optimizing production strategies and operations across various projects. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the manufacturing sector to analyze client challenges, develop innovative solutions, and advise on best practices in areas such as lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and process automation. You will work independently, collaborating with clients virtually to drive significant improvements in their operational efficiency and profitability, all from the comfort of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote assessments of client manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Develop strategic recommendations and actionable plans for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Advise clients on the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions in a manufacturing context.
• Provide expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and supply chain optimization.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders via virtual meetings.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing .

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in manufacturing operations, consulting, or a senior management role.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other relevant process improvement methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
