About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Manufacturing Consultant to provide expert guidance and strategic advice on optimizing production operations. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will work with various manufacturing clients to identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern manufacturing principles, supply chain management, and operational excellence, delivering strategic insights to clients across diverse industries, all from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations for operational enhancements, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Guide clients through the implementation of new technologies, lean manufacturing techniques, and supply chain optimization strategies.
- Provide expertise in areas such as production planning, inventory management, and workflow automation.
- Facilitate remote workshops and training sessions for client teams.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to offer cutting-edge solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations , consulting, or a related senior management role.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing operational improvements in manufacturing environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, essential for a remote role.
