Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products, utilizing advanced CAD software and best practices.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
• Conduct design validation through simulations (e.g., FEA) and prototype testing, iterating based on results.
• Collaborate closely with remote cross-functional teams, including industrial designers, electrical engineers, and product managers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical design issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the selection of materials and manufacturing processes suitable for product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and related simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment using digital collaboration tools.
