About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document complex mechanical components and systems for R&D projects using advanced CAD software .
• Perform rigorous simulations and analyses , including structural integrity, thermal management, and vibration characteristics.
• Collaborate virtually with a global team of physicists, engineers, and researchers to define requirements and refine designs.
• Generate detailed technical drawings, tolerance analyses, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Contribute to the specification and selection of materials and manufacturing processes suitable for advanced applications.
• Support prototype testing and validation, troubleshoot issues, and implement design modifications as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related advanced technical discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in mechanical design and analysis , with a strong focus on R&D environments.
• Expertise in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and advanced simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote work setting.
• In-depth knowledge of material science, precision manufacturing techniques, and instrumentation.
• Experience with optical systems or vacuum technology is a significant advantage.
