Remote Mechanical Engineer - Product Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine mechanical components and systems for new and existing products using 3D CAD software.
• Conduct thorough analysis, including thermal, stress, and vibration simulations, to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, manufacturing drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing partners, through virtual communication channels.
• Participate in virtual design reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to problem-solving efforts.
• Support prototype testing and validation, troubleshooting issues and implementing design improvements to meet product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks , Inventor) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, including injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D printing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
