Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for a range of innovative products using CAD software.
- Conduct virtual design reviews and collaborate effectively with remote team members and clients via video conferencing and collaborative platforms.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., thermal, stress) to ensure design feasibility and performance.
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues remotely, working closely with manufacturing partners and engineering colleagues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows within a distributed team environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor, and familiarity with 2D drafting.
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles, material properties, and manufacturing methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload independently and meet project deadlines effectively.
