About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Remote Mechanical Project Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting projects across the UK. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK while contributing to significant engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for managing multiple mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from planning and execution to closeout.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Facilitate remote project meetings and maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in project management within the mechanical engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment .
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
