Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their globally distributed engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex mechanical systems, ensuring seamless interaction between various components and subsystems.
- Perform detailed analysis, including performance, reliability, and failure mode assessment, for critical mechanical systems.
- Create comprehensive system architecture documentation, including block diagrams, interface control documents, and operational concepts.
- Collaborate with remote engineering teams, product management, and manufacturing to define system requirements and specifications.
- Lead technical reviews and contribute to the validation and verification of system designs throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within mechanical systems, providing expert guidance to remote troubleshooting teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical systems design, analysis, and integration.
- Proven experience in developing complex mechanical architectures and system specifications.
- Expertise in applying systems engineering methodologies to mechanical projects.
- Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools for component-level design and analysis.
- Excellent remote collaboration skills, with a strong ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
