Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test sophisticated mechanical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough FEA and CFD analysis to predict and improve system behaviour under various conditions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software .
• Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, using digital collaboration tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical engineering issues, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Research and implement new materials, technologies, and design methodologies to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Significant professional experience, ideally 5+ years, in designing and analyzing complex mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA/CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Demonstrated experience in designing for advanced manufacturing processes and understanding of material properties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a remote working environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
