Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of data from various mining operations and geological surveys.
• Develop and implement analytical models to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in mining data.
• Create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate remotely with geologists, engineers, and management to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for mining operations and provide insights for improvement.
• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to enhance predictive capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mining Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably within the mining industry or a related resource sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), R, SQL, and Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and predictive modelling.
