Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, C++, Java, .NET).
• Design and implement efficient algorithms for data processing, simulation, and optimisation relevant to mining operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to define software requirements and specifications.
• Work with large datasets, including geological, operational, and sensor data, to build data-driven solutions and analytical tools.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and the continuous improvement of development processes and team collaboration in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong portfolio of developed applications.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language and experience with modern development tools and practices.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modelling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
