Remote Network Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points across multiple locations.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and standards, and maintain an up-to-date network diagram.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors on network-related projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, and other routing and switching protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.
