About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and empathetic Remote Nutritionist & Dietitian to provide expert dietary guidance and support to clients nationwide via their online platform, serving clients in Southampton and beyond. This role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, developing evidence-based dietary plans, and educating individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. You will play a critical role in promoting healthy eating habits, managing diet-related conditions, and empowering clients with the knowledge to make sustainable dietary changes. This position is perfect for a dedicated professional who excels in a remote environment, utilizing digital tools to deliver high-impact nutritional counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including dietary intake analysis and health history review, via virtual consultations.
- Develop personalized meal plans and dietary recommendations tailored to individual health goals, medical conditions, and lifestyle preferences.
- Provide evidence-based nutrition education to clients on topics such as weight management, chronic disease prevention, sports nutrition, and general healthy eating.
- Monitor client progress, provide ongoing support and motivation, and make necessary adjustments to dietary plans.
- Utilize secure telehealth platforms for all client interactions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional standards.
- Stay current with the latest research in nutrition science, dietetics, and public health recommendations.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or equivalent accredited qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition and dietetics.
- Proven experience in delivering remote nutrition counseling and education via telehealth.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, IBS).
- Excellent communication, counseling, and motivational skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and virtual communication software.
