About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Operations Optimisation Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This position offers complete flexibility to work from home, focusing on analysing and enhancing operational processes for a global client base. You will leverage advanced industrial engineering principles to identify inefficiencies, design improved workflows, and implement solutions that drive significant performance gains. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex operational data from various sources to identify trends, root causes of inefficiency, and areas for improvement.
- Design, develop, and document optimised operational processes, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Implement and manage process improvement projects, utilising Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Utilize simulation and modelling tools to predict the impact of process changes before implementation.
- Collaborate seamlessly with remote project managers, clients, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in operations management and industrial engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or industrial engineering.
- Proven expertise in applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to operational challenges.
- Strong proficiency with process simulation software, data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R), and project management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results remotely.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective virtual collaboration.
