About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and dedicated Remote Performance Analyst with a specialization in Esports to join their globally distributed team, supporting operations from Cambridge and beyond. You will work closely with coaching staff and players to identify areas for improvement, develop performance benchmarks, and contribute to data-driven decision-making at the highest level of professional gaming. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to player performance, team strategies, and in-game metrics.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to visualize key trends and insights.
• Identify patterns and correlations in gameplay data to provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with coaches and players to understand their needs and translate data into actionable advice.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, strategies, and meta shifts within competitive Esports titles.
• Assist in the development and refinement of performance tracking tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Performance Analyst , Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in Esports or a related competitive field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel).
• Deep understanding of Esports titles, game mechanics, and competitive strategy.
• Excellent data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
