Remote Pharmaceutical Data Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and organized Pharmaceutical Data Manager to join their global clinical data management team. This position is fully remote, offering an exceptional opportunity to manage clinical trial data from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for the design, setup, and management of clinical databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical data management systems and a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle. This is a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of clinical trials and advancing new medicines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of clinical trial databases using EDC systems, ensuring compliance with study protocols and standards.
• Develop and maintain data management plans (DMPs), data validation plans, and other relevant documentation.
• Oversee data entry, data cleaning, and query resolution processes to ensure high-quality data.
• Collaborate with statisticians, clinical programmers, and clinical operations personnel to define data requirements and validation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines, including GCP, ICH, and data privacy regulations.
• Manage user access and provide training on EDC systems and data management procedures to study team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO.
• Proficiency in multiple Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical, Veeva Vault EDC).
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, database design, data validation, and query management.
• Knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
