Remote Pharmaceutical Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large-scale pharmaceutical datasets (e.g., clinical trial data, omics data, real-world evidence).
• Design and build data pipelines for data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define key performance indicators and research questions.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and statistical modeling within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D processes and data types.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
