About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their dedicated team, supporting operations from anywhere in the UK . This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance for all pharmaceutical products manufactured and distributed. You will be responsible for the comprehensive analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, using advanced analytical techniques. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while demanding a high level of self-discipline and commitment to maintaining product integrity and regulatory adherence in a challenging pharmaceutical landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using validated methods.
- Operate and maintain various analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
- Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and observations in compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
- Investigate and troubleshoot out-of-specification (OOS) results, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Review and approve analytical data generated by other QC team members, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new analytical methods as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a Pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory setting.
- Strong working knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC , GC, and wet chemistry.
- Familiarity with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Excellent data management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
