Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop advanced control system solutions, including PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms.
- Define control system requirements, standards, and best practices for new projects and system upgrades.
- Lead the implementation and commissioning of complex automation projects, ensuring seamless integration with plant operations.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for control system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Evaluate and recommend new control technologies and software to enhance system performance and capabilities.
- Mentor and guide a team of controls and automation engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in industrial controls and automation engineering.
- Expertise in programming and configuring major PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of process control theory, instrumentation, and industrial networks.
- Proven experience in leading complex automation projects and providing technical direction.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills for a remote team environment.
