About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Exploration Geoscientist to join their globally dispersed team. You will leverage advanced geophysical and geological techniques, data integration, and deep domain expertise to direct exploration programs and interpret complex datasets. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cutting-edge exploration strategies and methodologies, focusing on target generation and validation.
• Lead the interpretation of integrated geophysical, geological, and geochemical data for prospect identification.
• Manage and mentor a global team of exploration geoscientists, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee the planning and execution of remote exploration programs, including acquisition and interpretation of geophysical surveys.
• Provide expert technical guidance on geological potential, resource estimation, and project risk assessment.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding portfolio development and capital allocation for exploration initiatives.

Requirements

• A PhD or Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a strong emphasis on geophysical interpretation and data integration.
• Expertise in multiple geophysical methods (e.g., magnetics, gravity, electromagnetics, seismics) and their application to mineral exploration .
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams and complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of geological controls on mineralization and basin analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
