Our client is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Remote Process Engineer to join their forward-thinking operations team, supporting business functions that originate in Cardiff, Wales . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimisation.
• Design, develop, and document new processes and system improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product or service quality.
• Utilise process mapping, simulation, and data analysis techniques to model and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments and locations through virtual platforms to ensure successful implementation and adoption of process improvements.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of implemented processes and ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on process engineering best practices and problem-solving strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Significant professional experience in process engineering, with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and productively in a fully remote capacity, managing time and projects independently.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and diagramming software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different teams and levels.
