About the Role
Our client is searching for an innovative and experienced Remote Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across their manufacturing divisions. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in process optimization and lean methodologies from the comfort of your home office. You will analyze complex production systems, identify opportunities for enhancement, and spearhead the implementation of transformative changes that boost efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and redesign of manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization, focusing on waste reduction, cycle time improvement, and enhanced product quality.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify key areas for improvement and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Collaborate with remote and on-site teams, including operations, engineering, and management, to champion and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Design and implement new process workflows and documentation, ensuring scalability and repeatability across different production units.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve significant operational improvements.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software, simulation tools, and process mapping techniques.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills for a remote environment.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is highly preferred.
