Remote Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is searching for an innovative and analytical Remote Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across their manufacturing operations. This role is designed for an individual who can remotely analyze complex production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will work closely with on-site teams to facilitate change and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for improvement using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and implement strategic process improvement plans, collaborating with site managers and engineering teams to ensure successful execution.
• Design and conduct experiments (DOE) to optimize process parameters and validate changes.
• Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and training materials.
• Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to track process performance and report on key metrics.
• Facilitate remote workshops and training sessions to empower site teams in adopting new methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or operations management.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment and utilizing collaboration tools.
