Remote Process Optimisation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Process Optimisation Engineer to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across their global chemical processes. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, yield, and energy consumption.
• Develop and implement process optimisation strategies using statistical methods and advanced modelling.
• Collaborate with site-based engineering and operations teams to implement recommended changes.
• Conduct techno-economic evaluations of proposed optimisation projects.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in process optimisation and sustainability.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of optimisation initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
• Deep understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for remote interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively from a distance.
