About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Process Optimisation Engineer to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across their global chemical processes. This role is fully remote , offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving significant improvements. You will analyze existing operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven strategies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, yield, and energy consumption.
- Develop and implement process optimisation strategies using statistical methods and advanced modelling.
- Collaborate with site-based engineering and operations teams to implement recommended changes.
- Conduct techno-economic evaluations of proposed optimisation projects.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in process optimisation and sustainability.
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of optimisation initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
- Deep understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for remote interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively from a distance.
