Remote Process Optimization Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in chemical manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies using statistical methods, modeling, and simulation techniques.
• Design and manage pilot studies or plant trials to test and validate optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate remotely with plant engineers, operations teams, and R&D specialists to implement and monitor process changes.
• Utilize advanced data analytics and visualization tools to track process performance and report on key metrics.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in process optimization and chemical engineering .

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering with a strong focus on optimization and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, JMP, Minitab) and process simulation software.
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical methods and modeling techniques to solve complex problems.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and independent work ethic.
• Experience with process control strategies and advanced process control (APC) is a plus.
