About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Procurement Manager to lead their procurement efforts, working entirely from home. This position is crucial for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization, driving significant cost savings and enhancing supplier performance. You will manage a portfolio of key suppliers, foster strong internal stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with all procurement policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to meet organizational needs and objectives.
- Lead negotiations with major suppliers, securing competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Manage and mentor a remote team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee supplier relationship management, including performance reviews and risk assessments.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements
- Extensive experience in procurement management , strategic sourcing, and category management.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing procurement teams.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working remotely.
- Experience with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems and advanced procurement technologies.
