About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Procurement Specialist to manage global sourcing initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging with global suppliers, negotiating complex international contracts, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and onboard new global suppliers, conducting due diligence and risk assessments.
• Lead negotiations with international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and high-quality products/services.
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to optimise supply chains and reduce costs.
• Manage existing global supplier relationships, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Stay abreast of international trade regulations, tariffs, and geopolitical factors impacting global sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal teams across different regions to ensure seamless integration of global procurement activities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Procurement Specialist role with a strong emphasis on global or international sourcing.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex international agreements and manage diverse supplier bases.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade practices, customs, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, cross-cultural negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in e-procurement platforms and advanced Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
