Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a programme of projects , ensuring strategic alignment and effective resource allocation.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of multiple concurrent projects, managing dependencies and risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and strategic guidance.
- Lead and mentor project managers within the programme, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Define programme governance, standards, and reporting mechanisms for effective oversight.
- Monitor programme performance against key objectives, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive change management initiatives related to the programme's objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in programme or portfolio management, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-project initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering strategic programmes within a remote environment.
- Expertise in various project and programme management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP).
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial management and risk assessment capabilities.
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
