Remote Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Remote Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties. Working exclusively from home, you will be the primary point of contact for tenants and landlords, managing all aspects of property operations, from leasing and rent collection to maintenance and issue resolution. This role demands exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage diverse tasks independently, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients and tenants alike, all within a fully remote structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all leasing activities, including advertising vacant properties, screening potential tenants, and executing lease agreements.
• Oversee rent collection, manage arrears, and enforce lease terms consistently and fairly.
• Coordinate and manage property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular property inspections (virtually where appropriate) to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with lease terms.
• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and concerns, resolving issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate property records and financial statements for landlords, providing regular reports.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management or a related customer service role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with property management software and standard office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain productivity in a remote work environment.
• A good understanding of landlord-tenant laws and regulations is advantageous.
