About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Remote Purchasing Coordinator to join their team, supporting operations nationwide. This role is entirely remote, requiring excellent communication and time management skills to effectively manage purchasing tasks from a distance. You will be responsible for coordinating the procurement of various goods and services, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and in line with company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and manage the creation of purchase orders through the company’s procurement system.
- Coordinate with internal departments to confirm order requirements and specifications.
- Communicate with suppliers to track order status, confirm delivery dates, and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital records of all purchasing transactions.
- Assist in the evaluation of new suppliers and the maintenance of existing supplier relationships.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related administrative role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite) and comfortable learning new digital tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience with remote work is highly advantageous.
