Remote Purchasing Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process purchase requisitions and orders from various departments.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms for goods and services.
• Manage supplier relationships, track order progress, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, including contracts and supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide timely updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support role.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
