About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Quality Assurance Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this fully remote position, you will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our client's manufacturing output through rigorous testing and quality control procedures. You will work independently from your home office, collaborating virtually with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues. This role is ideal for a QA professional who excels in a remote setting and possesses a strong commitment to maintaining the highest product standards without the need for on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manufactured products.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues remotely.
• Perform root cause analysis on quality failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of testing activities and product quality metrics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in quality assurance, testing, or a similar role within a manufacturing context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using QA tools and methodologies, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
