About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality initiatives in a completely remote capacity. This senior role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's overall quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead a dispersed team of QA professionals, drive continuous improvement in quality processes, and foster a strong quality culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and policies across all product lines and operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a remote team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal and external audits, identify non-conformities, and drive the implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and customer support teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in developing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, industry-specific standards) and regulatory affairs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
