Remote Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team, operating fully remotely, with operational oversight from Milton Keynes . This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of product quality that our client is known for. You will be responsible for evaluating product specifications, performing inspections using provided tools and documentation, and reporting findings accurately. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent observational skills, and be comfortable working independently from a home office environment, ensuring consistent quality across all manufactured goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products against established quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize various measurement tools and testing equipment (as provided or specified) to assess product integrity.
• Document inspection results meticulously, including any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from standards.
• Report findings to the Quality Assurance Manager and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related data.
• Participate in virtual quality review meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quality control , inspection, or quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and inspection procedures.
• Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using standard measurement tools and documentation software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment .
• Good communication skills to report findings clearly and concisely in a virtual capacity .
