Remote Real Estate Investment Analyst

About the Role

Our client is a forward-thinking real estate investment firm seeking a highly analytical and motivated Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their fully remote team. This position involves conducting in-depth market research, financial modelling, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities across various property sectors. You will play a critical role in supporting the acquisition and portfolio management teams by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive profitable investment decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modelling and pro forma underwriting for potential investments.
• Conduct comprehensive market research, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks within target real estate markets.
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, including reviewing property data, legal documents, and environmental reports.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Monitor existing portfolio performance, providing regular updates and performance analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with remote colleagues across acquisitions, asset management, and finance departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis; experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, capital markets, and investment strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
