Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive sanitation policies and procedures for all managed facilities.
- Coordinate and schedule cleaning staff and services, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to established routines.
- Conduct remote site inspections and assessments using virtual tools and reporting mechanisms to monitor cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement and distribution to various locations.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance, preparing regular reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sanitation, facilities management, or cleaning supervision role, preferably with remote oversight responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, hygiene standards, and relevant health and safety legislation.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, scheduling, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management software).
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively from a remote location, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cleaning staff, site managers, and other stakeholders.
