Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools.
• Analyze security data to identify potential threats, intrusions, and policy violations.
• Respond to security incidents according to established procedures, performing initial triage and escalation.
• Document security incidents, investigation steps, and resolution actions accurately.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of SOC playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with other security team members and IT personnel to ensure effective threat mitigation.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment or similar security monitoring role.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack), IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Understanding of networking protocols, common attack vectors, and incident response methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required, supporting a 24/7 security monitoring operation.
