Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information for architectural projects.
• Ensure technical designs comply with all relevant building regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project progression.
• Conduct technical reviews of designs and provide expert advice on materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Manage the technical aspects of projects, ensuring timely delivery of all required documentation.
• Utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes to manage project data and enhance collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience.
• Extensive knowledge of UK building regulations, planning legislation, and construction technology.
• High proficiency in 3D modelling software, particularly Revit, and a strong understanding of BIM Level 2.
• Excellent technical detailing skills and the ability to produce accurate construction drawings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
