About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting projects across the UK from their base in Oxford . This role involves the design, planning, and supervision of civil engineering projects, ensuring all work is compliant with industry standards and regulations. You will lead on complex infrastructure and building projects, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with clients and project stakeholders in a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil engineering infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and site development.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and produce technical reports.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building regulations , environmental standards, and health and safety legislation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of civil and site engineers.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Expertise in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage).
• Thorough understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for remote collaboration.
