Remote Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their established, fully remote engineering team. This role will involve taking a lead role in the technical design and delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects, supporting clients nationwide. Working entirely from home, you will collaborate virtually with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure the successful execution of projects, from conception through to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and technical delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, land development, and urban planning.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to remote engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Manage project lifecycles, including feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction support, using virtual collaboration tools.
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Engage effectively with clients and stakeholders through virtual platforms, providing expert advice and fostering strong working relationships.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized professional body is essential.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects remotely and lead dispersed teams.
• Exceptional technical proficiency, including advanced use of design and analysis software.
