About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, automating, and scaling our cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS . You will work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth deployment pipelines, maintain high availability, and implement robust monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Monitor system performance, establish alerting, and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud environments .
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) , including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting .
