Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-efficiency power converters, inverters, and DC-DC converters.
• Perform circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, and thermal modeling of power electronic designs.
• Select appropriate semiconductor devices, passive components, and control ICs for optimal performance.
• Develop test plans and oversee the validation of prototypes in a lab environment (potentially remote lab access).
• Collaborate with firmware engineers on control algorithm development and implementation.
• Stay at the forefront of power electronics technology, proposing innovative design solutions.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in power electronics design .
• In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN).
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, LTspice, PSpice) and PCB design software.
• Experience with control strategies for modern power electronic converters.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for remote work.
