Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their globally distributed team, working remotely from anywhere. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex operational data and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, regardless of physical location.
- Design, develop, and implement optimized processes, systems, and layouts to enhance productivity and reduce costs globally.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools, simulation software, and statistical methods to model and test proposed solutions.
- Lead virtual cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, managing projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process maps, for a distributed workforce.
- Champion best practices in industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives across remote teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Research, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial engineering , with a significant portion focused on remote or distributed project work.
- Proficiency with industrial engineering software, including simulation, data analysis, and visualization tools.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence programs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision.
