Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mineral processing circuits, including crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and refining operations.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale test work to evaluate new processing technologies and improve existing circuits.
• Analyze operational data to identify key performance drivers and recommend process adjustments for enhanced recovery and cost reduction.
• Prepare detailed metallurgical reports, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to plant operations teams across various mining sites globally.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in metallurgical science and technology, recommending their adoption where beneficial for remote mining operations .

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy.
• Proven expertise in areas such as flotation, hydrometallurgy, and pyrometallurgy.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and process simulation software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting .
