Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously optimize long-term mine plans and production schedules.

• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects and expansions.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, metallurgical, and environmental teams to integrate all aspects of mine planning.
• Analyze production data and mine performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior planning engineers and site teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mine planning and operations, with a focus on long-term strategic planning.
• Expert proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac).
• Strong understanding of geostatistics, resource estimation, and reserve calculations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote setting.
