About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their globally distributed team, supporting operations primarily focused on the Oil & Gas sector . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production strategies for oil and gas fields, focusing on maximizing recovery and minimizing operational costs.
• Conduct performance analysis of wells and facilities, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques and technologies.
• Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and production forecasts for management review.
• Collaborate remotely with subsurface teams, operations staff, and external partners to ensure efficient asset management.
• Stay current with advancements in petroleum engineering technology and best practices relevant to remote operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry , with a proven track record in production optimization.
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, production operations, and well performance analysis.
• Experience with production optimization software and economic modeling tools .
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
