Remote Senior Project Manager - Cloud Initiatives

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Project Manager to lead critical Cloud Initiatives from anywhere in the UK . You will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions that enhance our client's technological capabilities and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cloud migration and infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for cloud projects .
• Manage and mentor remote project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across distributed members.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including IT, engineering, and business units, to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Monitor project performance, identify potential roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to continuously improve cloud project management processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on cloud computing projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, large-scale IT projects, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures , migration strategies, and DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools suitable for remote work environments.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals are highly advantageous.
